As a Key Account Manager for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics in Scotland, you drive growth by advancing point-of-care testing adoption across NHS and related settings. Responsibilities
- Develop markets and customers to meet sales targets and deliver key account activities
- Lead projects and collaborate with teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives
- Execute national strategies for new and existing products, mapping stakeholders
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in key accounts
- Participate in sales and marketing meetings and align regional execution with UK campaigns
- Articulate issues and opportunities to secure long-term strategic business deals
- Maintain visibility of regional strategic landscape with Commercial and Marketing Teams
Key requirements
- Proven sales track record with strong business acumen and analytics
- Significant industry experience in medical devices or diagnostics
- Familiarity with diagnostic industry practices preferred
- Thorough knowledge of UK healthcare system and NHS
- Ability to construct compelling business cases
- Informal coaching and stakeholder leadership
- IT proficiency: Word, Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce and Power BICRM systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with adaptability in fast-changing environments
