Overview

As Territory Manager for the Midlands, you drive revenue growth by growing market share across Cambridge, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Coventry. You partner with clinicians, procurement, and commercial leaders to promote Abbott’s Structural Heart therapies, using clinical knowledge and strategic planning to deliver value to patients. You operate with integrity and customer focus, building trust and advancing evidence-based therapies across your territory. This role offers cross-functional collaboration and exposure to market insights at a global healthcare leader.

Responsibilities

  • Territory and account strategy: develop targeted plans considering local dynamics, procurement processes, and customer priorities
  • Sales execution: apply consultative selling, SWOT, SMART objectives, and segmentation to build pipeline and hit targets
  • Customer engagement: map decision networks, influence key stakeholders, and tailor value propositions
  • Clinical and product expertise: maintain knowledge of Abbott therapies, clinical practice, and regulatory standards
  • Technical support: provide practical and theoretical guidance to clinicians and Abbott colleagues
  • Market insight: gather and share account intelligence, competitor insights, and opportunities
  • Performance and reporting: maintain territory records, forecasts, and documentation
  • Collaboration and development: work with Sales Managers, marketing, educators, and the wider country team, pursuing ongoing learning
  • Compliance and professionalism: act ethically in line with Abbott policies and legal standards

Key requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Bachelor degree (Masters/PhD preferred in a relevant field)
  • Experience in healthcare sales or cath lab clinical experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare landscape preferable
