Overview

As a Digital Insights Specialist in QBE’s Marketing & Communications, you will lead digital measurement and optimization across web, email, social, paid media and SEO. You’ll transform data into actionable insights to improve performance, customer journeys and marketing effectiveness within a global team. You will drive testing programmes, champion data-driven thinking, and explore AI and automation to unlock deeper insights. This role offers the opportunity to shape how digital performance is measured and how decisions are made across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Own measurement and analysis across QBE’s digital channels (web, email, social, paid media, SEO)
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI measures
  • Lead testing, experimentation and optimization programmes
  • Develop testing roadmaps and prioritise opportunities to improve customer journeys and conversion
  • Act as subject matter expert for digital analytics, attribution, measurement and optimization
  • Collaborate with technology and external partners to ensure accurate tracking and measurement
  • Analyse website performance and customer behaviour to improve digital experiences
  • Support technical SEO and website optimization initiatives
  • Champion AI, automation and emerging tech to enhance reporting and insights
  • Establish consistent measurement standards and data governance across marketing
  • Own the digital insight and optimization roadmap and strategic opportunities
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to influence channel strategy and investment
  • Build partnerships across marketing, technology and data teams to maximise value of insights

Key requirements

  • Strong experience in digital analytics or marketing analytics
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of attribution models, event tracking and conversion measurement
  • Experience developing reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI measures
  • Proven track record in identifying actionable insights and driving performance improvements
  • Experience leading optimization, experimentation and testing programmes
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels (web, email, social, paid, SEO)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience across cross-functional teams including marketing, technology, data and external partners
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies (AI and automation) in marketing and analytics
  • Experience with tools like Power BI, SQL, BrightEdge or similar analytics/optimisation tech would be advantageous
