Overview
As Head of Learning and Development, you will lead the global L&D strategy to build capability and business impact. You’ll partner with senior leaders to align learning with growth and commercial priorities while fostering a people-first culture. You’ll drive digital and AI-enabled learning and embed learning into ways of working to support rapid consulting delivery. This role shapes a high-performing L&D function and guides the organisation through change and capability development.

Responsibilities
- Implement the global L&D strategy and ensure alignment with growth and people-first values
- Partner with senior leaders, HRBPs and internal experts to identify strategic capabilities in digital, AI, software and new ways of working
- Leverage data to identify capability gaps and prioritise learning investments for maximum impact
- Act as a trusted learning advisor to senior stakeholders and drive ownership of learning outcomes
- Stay abreast of external trends in learning, technology, and AI to continuously improve the L&D offer
- Increase engagement and utilisation of learning across the firm and remove barriers to learning
- Connect L&D to career development pathways and support skills growth for colleagues
- Collaborate with Leadership Development and other People teams to ensure joined-up learning and talent priorities
- Curate and improve learning solutions, creating new interventions only when there is clear business value
- Provide strategic oversight of the L&D technology roadmap and ensure efficient operations
- Lead and grow a high-performing L&D function with a clear vision, governance, and measurable outcomes
- Define measures of learning effectiveness, adoption, and ROI and align goals with firm priorities
- Manage the L&D budget and prioritise resources for scalable, high-impact solutions
- Be an active, collaborative leader across the wider People team
Key requirements
- Senior experience in creating and evolving learning strategies with measurable impact
- Understanding of consulting or professional services environments
- Credible executive stakeholder engagement and influence
- Track record of learning adoption and culture change
- Experience designing digital and AI-enabled learning at scale
- Proven leadership and team management in times of growth and change
- Comfort with L&D platforms, digital ecosystems and supplier management
- Ability to define meaningful metrics and tell a data-driven value story
