Data Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to UK programmes as part of a growth-focused data engineering team. You’ll design and deliver scalable data products, set data standards, and collaborate with delivery teams and customers to meet business objectives. The position involves working with modern technologies across government-focused industries and requires security clearance eligibility. Responsibilities

• Provide data engineering skills and design solutions for bid and delivery processes
• Design and implement modern, scalable data products using new technologies
• Lead data solution aspects including setting data standards and applying deep technical expertise
• Utilise data modelling concepts to produce data models across subjects
• Collaborate with customers on data management and data services for multiple lines of business
• Identify and leverage business opportunities through data engineering best practices
• Communicate effectively across organisational, technical, and political boundaries

Key requirements

• Previous experience as a Data Engineer or background in Data Management

• Large-scale Data Management (petabytes)
