Estimator

Overview

In this role you will lead and shape cost estimates for water-sector projects within the AMP 8 framework, guiding a team of estimators on large tenders. You will identify risks and opportunities, maintain tender files, and provide pricing input to support business development. You’ll present estimates at adjudication and prepare adjudication packs, contributing to a Tier One civil engineering and infrastructure team. This position offers impact across water, transport, and built-environment projects with a focus on robust, compliant estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates on Water projects within the AMP 8 Framework
• Undertake estimates following company procedures
• Lead a team of estimators for large tenders; mentor junior estimators
• Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process
• Maintain tender estimate file
• Provide indicative pricing support for business development
• Present estimates at adjudication
• Prepare an estimating adjudication pack

Key requirements

• Estimating and/or operational experience in shafts, tunnelling, pipeline, MEICA, rail civils and groundworks
