Overview

As a Data Science & AI Specialist at BT Networks, you harness data and AI to improve network performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. You will design and deploy scalable ML/AI solutions in collaboration with data engineers and stakeholders, shaping BT Networks’ data and AI capabilities. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives that translate complex data into actionable insights and measurable business value, at scale. This role offers hands-on development with cutting-edge tech and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy advanced data science, ML and AI solutions to address business challenges
• Extract and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights
• Build and deploy predictive models and AI capabilities
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate models into production data platforms
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders with clear visuals and storytelling
• Explore emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation in data science and AI
• Contribute to the long-term Data and AI capabilities and strategy of BT Networks

Key requirements

• Enterprise experience applying data science, ML and AI to solve real business problems with measurable outcomes
• Commercial experience with Python and SQL handling large datasets for analysis and modelling
• Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to diverse audiences and translate data into business insights
