We are recruiting a Counterbalance Driver on an ongoing basis. If you’re a motivated individual who’s not afraid of physical work, this could be the right opportunity for you. To succeed in this role, you must be a team player with an excellent work ethic.
ROLE: Counterbalance Driver
HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
Sunday to Thursday, 22:00-06:00
BASIC SALARY:
06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 – £15.14 per hour (40 Hours – All breaks Paid)
£21.85 per hour after 40 hours worked Monday – Saturday
£28.55 per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays
22:00-06:00 – £15.62 per hour (40 Hours – All breaks Paid)
£22.33 per hour after 40 hours worked Monday – Saturday
£29.03 per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Lots of overtime available. Temp to perm opportunities. All breaks paid, opportunities for training and progression.

In this Counterbalance Driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving the Counterbalance and using other MHE
- Assisting other departments
- Optimising space utilisation
- Manual banding, strapping and moving materials around the warehouse
- Working in a safe manner and adhering to all health and safety standards
To be successful in this Counterbalance Driver role, you must:
- Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift certificate
- Be physically fit and happy to do physical work
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
