Associate Partner – Private Client Tax

In this role you will lead and review private client tax work within a growing advisory team. You’ll balance compliance with advisory projects while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing a varied portfolio of private client tax compliance work
• Reviewing complex Self-Assessment Tax Returns and ensuring technical accuracy
• Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client service
• Identifying planning opportunities and supporting wider advisory projects
• Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members
• Supporting senior leadership on technical and strategic assignments
• Assisting with business development initiatives and client growth opportunities
• Managing billing processes and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently

Key requirements

• Experience in Private Client Tax within a professional services environment
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
• Experience reviewing complex Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and budgets
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
• Confidence building relationships across all levels of an organisation
