Overview
In this Digital Architecture role, you will shape scalable, cloud-native digital solutions for customer-facing platforms. You’ll collaborate with product, UX and engineering teams to design end-to-end architectures that balance security, performance and cost. Working within a SAFe environment, you’ll drive innovation across microservices, APIs and event-driven systems to improve customer experiences and business value. Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end architectures for digital solutions across web and mobile channels
- Define functional and non-functional requirements including security, performance, resilience and maintainability
- Shape customer-journey focused solutions within a microservices, API-driven ecosystem
- Assess new initiatives with ROM estimates and high-level solution options
- Ensure architectures align with AWS Well-Architected principles and optimize for security, scalability and cost
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, architects and engineers to refine delivery and establish architecture guardrails
- Support investigation of complex technical challenges to improve service reliability and customer experience
- Contribute innovative architectural approaches to speed delivery and value creation
- Participate actively in SAFe Agile delivery with cross-functional teams
Key requirements
- Experience designing enterprise-scale digital solutions for B2C and/or B2B platforms
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture approaches (microservices, micro-frontends, distributed systems)
- Cloud-native development experience (serverless, containers, managed data platforms, auto-scaling)
- Proficiency in documenting solution designs and non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience)
- Strong REST API knowledge and API design best practices
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and related design principles
- Ability to communicate complex concepts using UML, C4 Model or similar
- Balance of customer needs, technical excellence and commercial considerations
- Collaborative, inclusive mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
