Environmental Health Officer: Housing Standards & Enforcement

Somerset County Council is seeking an Environmental Health Officer to join the Private Sector Housing Team. You will investigate complaints, inspect homes, assess hazards and advise landlords and tenants, taking enforcement action where needed.

Based in Somerset with hybrid working options, you will cover HMOs and other housing across the county, contributing to service development as reforms under the Renters’ Rights Act progress.
