Key Responsibilities

• General Manager position responsible for managing the internal team, day-to-day manufacturing activities and driving sales across the a bespoke joinery product range
• Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Lead, support, and motivate production managers, team leaders and site staff, ensuring strong team performance
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment while monitoring budgets and performance
• Act as a main client contact, handling queries and resolving issues professionally
• Maintain systems, health & safety standards, and continuously improve processes and ways of working
• May be a requirement to visit site when needed

Ideal Applicant

• Must have Management experience across the building supplies industry
• Ideal experience within merchant, trade, timber, joinery or furniture environments
• Highly advantageous to have experience & understanding of manufacturing processes
• Open to a senior candidate looking to take the next step into a management positionExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious
• Computer literate
