The HGV Class 1 Driver Role We’re now looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to operate our regular night-time trunking route from our Avonmouth based distribution centre.
This will involve a nightly changeover of tailers at Lytham St Ann’s (in Lancashire) returning to Avonmouth, where you may be required to move other vehicles to enable loading of other vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with regulations
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Loading vehicles/securing loads correctly
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
What You Will Bring
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in multi-drop or regional deliveries
- Strong safety awareness and reliability
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
