Salary

£35,000 – £50,000

Overview

Opportunity to earn in excess of £50,000 (this includes basic salary, overtime and commission)

  • 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Role & Required Skills for a Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Experienced with at least 5 years or more in the fire alarm industry, security knowledge in access control, CCTV would be an advantage.
  • This role is a full-time position on multiple sites, generally within the Midlands area.
  • Able to work independently and carry out servicing and basic commissioning on fire alarm systems such as Advanced, Notifier, Ziton, etc. Confident to attend callouts and some occasional servicing day to day.
  • Ability and willingness to carry out small works and system upgrades.
  • Cover the on-call rota from Friday to Friday with 24/7 support, currently 1 in 6.
  • Live locally to the Midlands and be within one hour travel time from the office would be preferred but not essential.
  • Enhanced security clearance.
  • Confident and presentable with good customer skills and professional attitude at all times.
  • Willing to work occasional overtime or weekends, early starts and late evenings; compensation paid accordingly.
  • Good IT skills and confident using computers/laptops (essential).
  • Health & Safety trained (an advantage).
  • ECS / CSCS Card (an advantage).
  • IPAF trained (an advantage).
  • Enhanced DBS Cleared (essential).
  • Clean driving license (an advantage).
