Job Description:

Reporting to the Partnership Director and working alongside NHS, local authority, community and voluntary sector partners, you will provide operational leadership for the planning, mobilisation and readiness of the CAD programme. You will coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure each event is safe, effective, clinically governed and fully prepared for delivery. Working across organisational boundaries, you’ll bring together people, processes, venues, workforce plans and governance arrangements to create seamless patient experiences and measurable improvements in care.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead the mobilisation, planning and readiness assurance for six Community Appointment Days across East Sussex.
  • Develop and manage integrated programme plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and governance processes.
  • Coordinate clinical, operational, digital, estates, workforce and partner workstreams.
  • Ensure robust safety, safeguarding, escalation and operational procedures are in place.
  • Work with clinicians and stakeholders to design patient-centred pathways and inclusive access arrangements.
  • Secure and coordinate community venues, workforce requirements and event-day operations.
  • Build strong partnerships with NHS organisations, primary care, local authorities, Public Health teams and VCSE partners.
  • Drive programme performance, evaluation, reporting and benefits realisation.
  • Produce a comprehensive programme closure and handover report by March 2027.
