Senior Mechanical Engineer, Quantum Hardware Systems

IonQ, Inc. in Oxford seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design from requirements through manufacture and integration. You will work on hardware surrounding the quantum processor, including cryostat requirements, cooling equipment, vacuum chambers and supporting structures.

You will produce CAD designs, BOMs and assembly drawings, manage documentation in our PLM system, and collaborate with scientists, technicians and suppliers to ensure designs are robust and manufacturable.
