Job Description:
Our Tier 1 banking client are seeking a experienced Implementation manager for a long term contracting position of theirs.
Project
Lead the successful delivery of a mainframe product migration into the production environment, overseeing implementation planning, deployment and cutover. Coordinate readiness across technical, operational, business and third-party teams, ensuring the transition is well-governed, compliant and delivered with minimal risk.
Key skills
- Demonstrable experience managing implementations, deployments and cutover activities within mainframe or complex legacy technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS production environments, including batch processing/JCL, scheduling tools such as Control-M or CA-7, DB2/IMS, CICS, system interfaces, and disaster recovery/resilience
Please note this will require onsite work 3x days a week in Sheffield.
