Employment Solicitor (Employee Rights)

• Location: Surrey, South East
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: Circa £60,000-£80,000 (DOE)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide legal advice and representation in employment law matters, focusing on employee rights.
• Handle cases involving unfair dismissals, discrimination, employment contracts, and wage disputes.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and tribunal hearings.
• Draft and review employment documents and policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulations.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a cohesive approach to client cases.
• Participate in client meetings and legal consultations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor in the UK with at least 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Strong experience and focus on employee-side cases.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high legal ethical standards and professionalism.
