Occupational Therapy Job Description

• Speciality – OT
• Location -North West London
• Start date – ASAP
• Contract Length – Ongoing
• Pay Rate – £40-50 per hour
• We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide flexible support across 3-4 schools in North West London as part of a new SEND programme.
• The hours are ad hoc and flexible, making this ideal for an OT wanting additional work alongside an existing locum, NHS or private role.

Role

• OT assessments and intervention
• Supporting pupils with ASD, complex needs and a range of SEND
• Sensory and functional assessment
• Supporting sensory regulation, motor and functional needs
• Providing strategies and recommendations to schools
• Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, families and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Working flexibly across several North West London schools

Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Paediatric, SEND, school or community experience
• Experience supporting children with ASD/complex needs desirable
• Comfortable working independently across education settings
