Were looking for a Power BI & Insights Developer to join our team and help turn data into meaningful, trusted information for the business.

This isnt a data engineering role its about making data work for people. Youll focus on developing engaging Power BI reports and visualisations, working closely with stakeholders to understand what they need and turning their requirements into clear, useful reporting. Youll use your Power BI expertise and understanding of data to help colleagues make better-informed decisions, while building strong relationships across the business.

What youll be doing

  • Develop, maintain and optimise Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and create clear, effective data visualisations
  • Ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable across reports and dashboards
  • Work with different data sources and platforms to support effective data integration and data flow
  • Validate reporting outputs against source systems to ensure accuracy and robustness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues to maintain business continuity
  • Work with data engineering and data science colleagues to develop data models and support in-depth analysis
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, improve systems and enhance business intelligence capabilities

What were looking for:

  • Proven experience developing Power BI reports, with strong DAX skills including complex measures and calculated columns
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Azure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear business language
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation

Youll also need to be organised, proactive and comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues and partners at all levels. A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, along with a full driving licence.
