Property Assets Support Officer – Complex Cases 37 hours per week | Temporary contract until 20 December 2026 Working hours: 9am–5.30pm LYNX Employment is recruiting a Property Assets Support Officer to provide administrative and customer support within a busy Asset Management team.If you’re organised, confident working with data and enjoy solving problems, this role offers the opportunity to support property works and complex cases while helping residents receive a responsive service. The role You’ll be a first point of contact for customers, tenants, contractors and colleagues, coordinating administration and helping ensure property works progress through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling telephone enquiries and correspondence, resolving queries or escalating where required.
  • Coordinating daily administration for the Asset Management team.
  • Arranging meetings, managing diaries and preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, electronic systems and filing procedures.
  • Producing progress reports, statistics and management information.
  • Updating complex case workflows and dashboards.
  • Raising purchase orders using Agresso and checking contractor invoices for management sign-off.
  • Obtaining and assessing contractor quotations, placing agreed orders and tracking works to completion.
  • Arranging inspections and gathering customer satisfaction information.
  • Liaising with tenants and contractors to arrange appointments.
  • Supporting technical staff and allocating duties to the Business Administration Apprentice.

What we’re looking for

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. Confident IT skills, with experience maintaining records and producing accurate reports. Experience supporting performance monitoring, analysing data and solving problems. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders. A careful, professional approach to confidential and sensitive information. The ability to work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines. GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent NVQ qualifications or experience. Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings where required.
