This appointment represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional to join at an important stage in the organisation’s development.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the finance function, providing both strategic direction and operational oversight. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strengthening commercial decision-making and ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure to support its future ambitions.
This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent, making it an attractive opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional seeking their next challenge.

About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior Financial Controller level
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business strategy and senior-level decision-making
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- Extensive experience overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Track record of driving financial performance, improving profitability and delivering operational efficiencies
- Experience within a growing, multi-site or international organisation would be advantageous
- Confident operating at both strategic and operational levels, with a hands-on approach when required
What you’ll do
- Take full responsibility for the finance function, providing strategic leadership and ensuring robust financial management across the organisation
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape business strategy, support expansion plans and identify opportunities for profitable growth
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, ensuring the business is positioned to deliver against its objectives
- Provide meaningful commercial insight into business performance, challenging existing processes and supporting informed decision-making
- Oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, internal controls and risk management, ensuring strong financial governance
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, building a high-performing function capable of supporting future growth
- Evaluate investment opportunities, commercial initiatives and strategic projects, providing financial guidance and recommendations
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting systems and operational efficiencies
