Community Engagement and Marketing Executive
Established in 1964, my client is a well-established, non-for-profit organisation who are currently seeking a Community Engagement and Marketing Executive to join their team based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (office based with travel within Belfast and North Down).
With a salary of £30,000 per annum.
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, organisations, schools and community groups, creating opportunities that benefit the business, its members and the wider community. The role will also support the businesses marketing and business development objectives through the delivery of digital marketing campaigns, community engagement initiatives and financial education programmes, while ensuring all activity meets regulatory, policy and brand requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience within a similar role.
- IT proficient with strong digital marketing skills, and experience of managing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to drive with access to own car and a valid driver’s licence.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience within financial services, a community-focused or not-for-profit organisation.
- Relevant professional qualification.
- Experience in partnership management, sponsorship or community engagement.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at community events, exhibitions, meetings and local initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local businesses, community groups, schools, colleges and youth organisations.
- Manage sponsorship and donation requests in line with the company policies, budgets and objectives.
- Support the delivery and promotion of financial education initiatives for young people.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, website and digital advertising channels.
- Create engaging, accurate and on-brand content promoting company products, services and community activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve results.
- Support wider marketing, business development and partnership activity.
- Identify and develop opportunities that support the company’s growth and community objectives.
