HGV Driver

MYM Recruitment are working with our client in Ardboe who are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join their team.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a flatbed truck, to transport goods and materials
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment including Moffett Mounty forklift and/or HiAb type cranes
• Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Valid HGV/ C or C+E driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Valid Driver CPC Up to date
• One years driving experience
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate flatbed/curtainside lorries
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and customer service skills
