Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Belfast – Days – Salary up to £50000 (DoE)Your New Company

Your New Role
Reporting to the Site Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance activities across a range of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of site assets. The role will support electrical infrastructure projects, fault diagnosis, commissioning activities and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. You will work closely with operational and project teams to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance and engineering activities across the site.
Whilst working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, component replacement and repair across a range of electrical systems and equipment * Performing electrical testing, including insulation resistance and continuity testing, in line with safe isolation and lockout/tagout procedures * Investigating and troubleshooting electrical and control-related faults using diagnostic tools, technical drawings and service documentation * Supporting and leading projects, including the commissioning of new installations * Acting as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations * Maintaining accurate maintenance and project records through the CMMS * Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental standards.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Essential
18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification or equivalent * Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391/2392 or equivalent) * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * Proven experience working as an Electrical maintenance Engineer within commercial and industrial environments * Minimum of five years’ experience working on engineering or infrastructure projects * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications * Experience using CMMS systems * Good understanding of health and safety requirements * Full driving licence.
What You’ll Get In Return
This role offers a comprehensive salary package of up to £50000 (DoE) and an attractive working pattern of Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00. An element of on-call cover may also be required.
