Job Description:
GM Performance Power Units is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the development of the MGU for the Formula 1 power unit. You will steer cross-disciplinary teams in electromagnetics, mechanical design, thermal, controls, and advanced manufacturing to maximize power density and race reliability.
You will oversee prototype programs, dynamometer testing, and data-driven iterations, directing design reviews and FMEA while ensuring compliance with FIA F1 regulations and safety interfaces.
