Following a period of significant growth, the company is looking to hire a commercially minded finance professional to become a key member of the leadership team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-scaling SaaS business where finance sits at the centre of strategic decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders, investors and department heads.

This role offers a broad remit across FP&A, financial control, group reporting, tax, audit, systems improvement and team management. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping processes, driving commercial insight and helping build a best-in-class finance function as the business continues to scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Finance & FP&A

  • Maintain and develop the group’s integrated financial model.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, KPI analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Support board reporting, fundraising initiatives and investor communications.
  • Partner with commercial teams to improve revenue reporting and business insight.
  • Provide scenario modelling and strategic analysis to support key decisions.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes.
  • Lead the month-end close process across multiple international entities.
  • Produce consolidated management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
  • Own year-end reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
  • Manage external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and governance frameworks are maintained and enhanced.

Tax & Compliance

  • Oversee indirect and direct tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisers.
  • Support R&D incentive claims and international compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive compliance calendar across the group.

Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a junior finance team member.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to drive financial accountability.
  • Champion AI adoption and process automation within finance.
  • Support broader ESG and compliance reporting initiatives.

We’re keen to speak with qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who combine strong technical accounting foundations with a commercial mindset.

You’ll likely have:

  • Experience within a SaaS, technology or high-growth environment.
  • Strong FP&A and financial modelling capability.
  • Exposure to group consolidations and international entities.
  • Experience managing audits and statutory reporting.
  • A proactive approach to improving systems, processes and controls.
  • The confidence to partner with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.

Why Apply?

  • Join a genuinely innovative, AI-led technology business.
  • High visibility role working directly with senior leadership.
  • Broad exposure across commercial finance and controllership.
  • Opportunity to influence growth strategy and business performance.
  • Fast-paced scale-up environment with significant career progression potential.
