Investment Bank FinancialCrime (IB FC) is responsible for the management and oversight offinancial crime risk for the Investment Bank, which comprisesBanking, Markets, Research and the International Corporate Bank,and its service providers. The IB FC Governance & Oversightfunction is responsible for governance, training &communications and quality assurance of IB financial crime controlprocesses.
KeyResponsibilities
Lead selected governancetransformationworkstreams.
Manage IB FC’srisk-based approachinventory.
Enhance IB FC’sapproach for managing regulatory / audit requests andvisits.
Identify andimplement improvements to FC controls QC design andoperation.
Produce andmaintain IB FC Governanceartefacts.
Map IB FC book ofwork to schedule of regulatory commitments, audit and 2LoD findingsand self-identifiedissues.
To be successful in this role youwillhave:
Understandingof financial crime risk in investment banking (Banking &Markets), including AML, Sanctions, and ABCrequirements.
Knowledge ofhow 1LoD financial crime controls operate (KYC/CDD, transaction duediligence, sanctions screening, escalations) and risk controlframeworks.
Proven abilityto collaborate effectively with colleagues from multiple functionsand execute tasks to agreedtimeframes.
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills — able to manage stakeholdersand explain complex topicsclearly.
Data-driven mindsetwith ability to interpret MI and use insights to drive continuousimprovement.
Experience ofmanaging projects and/or delivering dedicated programmeworkstreams.
Desirable skillsinclude:
Experience in a 1LoD/2LoDFinancial Crime within an investmentbank.
Familiarity withglobal financial crime regulations and regulatory expectations(FCA, PRA, BSA, OFAC, FATF, EU, MAS,etc.).
Relevant professionalqualifications (e.g., ICA Diploma in AML, ACAMS, orequivalent).
