QA Manager | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Are you an experienced QA professional with a background in sterile or aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing looking to step into a highly visible leadership role?

We’re partnering with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking a QA Manager to lead quality activities across a regulated sterile production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of Quality Assurance operations while ensuring the highest standards of GMP compliance, product quality, and patient safety.

The Opportunity

As QA Manager, you’ll provide quality leadership and oversight across aseptic and sterile manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GMP, MHRA, and internal quality standards. Working closely with Production, QC, Validation, and senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in maintaining inspection readiness, supporting sterile manufacturing activities, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide QA leadership and oversight for aseptic and sterile manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP, MHRA, FDA, and other regulatory requirements applicable to sterile pharmaceutical products.
  • Review and approve deviations, CAPAs, change controls, investigations, and risk assessments impacting sterile operations.
  • Support environmental monitoring, contamination control, and aseptic process compliance initiatives.
  • Lead and host customer, internal, and regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and manufacturing processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant Quality Assurance experience within a sterile, aseptic, injectable, or other sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic processing, contamination control, cleanroom operations, and sterile GMP requirements.
  • Proven experience supporting sterile manufacturing operations through effective quality oversight.
  • Previous leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop QA teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of deviations, CAPAs, change controls, audits, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
