Working across local government, NHS organisations, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), the Integrated Care Board (ICB), Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) and other key partners, you will provide expert advice, leadership and assurance to ensure Public Health fulfils its role within local emergency planning, business continuity and health protection arrangements. You will lead the development of Public Health emergency preparedness arrangements and support the Director of Public Health in discharging relevant statutory responsibilities. The role includes developing plans, policies, exercises and training programmes that strengthen Public Health’s ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies and ensuring that the health and wellbeing impacts of emergencies are considered within wider preparedness and resilience arrangements. • Design, deliver and evaluate EPRR training, exercising and development programmes for Public Health staff and system partners.
  • Provide specialist advice and operational support during public health incidents, outbreaks and major emergencies.
  • Support and advise Public Health consultants and senior leaders fulfilling strategic, tactical and incident management responsibilities.
  • Lead on the identification, assessment and management of health protection and resilience risks.
  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings, business cases and assurance updates for senior leaders, boards and partnerships.
  • Contribute to policy development, service improvement and implementation of lessons identified from incidents and exercises.
  • Represent Lincolnshire County Council Public Health at local, regional and national meetings relating to health protection, emergency planning and resilience.
