A highly regarded financial services organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its HR team on a maternity cover contract. Supporting a demanding and commercially focused Front Office population, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing business where HR is viewed as a genuine strategic partner.
This role requires an individual who can build credibility quickly, challenge constructively, and provide commercially focused HR support to senior stakeholders within revenue-generating teams.
The Opportunity
Working closely with business leaders and the wider HR function, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across a broad range of people matters. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping to drive performance, engagement, organisational effectiveness and talent initiatives.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and stakeholder expectations are high.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior Front Office leaders, providing commercially focused HR advice and guidance.
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and business change initiatives.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management and employment legislation.
- Lead and support talent management, succession planning and development initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders on compensation and promotion processes.
- Analyse people data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Drive employee engagement activities and help foster a high-performance culture.
- Work collaboratively with specialist HR teams to deliver HR initiatives and projects.
About You
- Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a financial services environment.
- Essential experience supporting Front Office populations.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand business priorities.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex cases.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding and high-performance environment.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
