Corporate Associate / Senior Associate

With continued growth across its Corporate team, the firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its Leeds or Newcastle office.

Your new role

You will join an established Corporate team advising on a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions




• Management buyouts and buy-ins




• Corporate restructures




• Shareholder agreements and corporate governance matters




• Joint ventures and investment transactions




• General company law and commercial advisory work




• You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex transactions while also managing your own matters and developing strong client relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Qualified solicitor with between 3 and 8 years’ PQE gained within a recognised corporate team




• Experience advising on M&A transactions and general corporate matters




• Strong technical skills and commercial awareness




• Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives




• Excellent communication and organisational skills




• A proactive and collaborative approach
