Health & Safety Coordinator HYBRID working| Newry | Construction Related Industry

The roleOur client, an organisation in the construction industry, is looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team in Newry. You will keep the business compliant, organised and ready for audit.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure general H&S compliance across the business
• Prepare for internal and external audits and keep audit-ready records
• Manage H&S paperwork, including risk assessments, method statements, training records and incident reports
• Keep policies, procedures and documentation up to date
• Track actions and corrective measures through to completion
• Support colleagues and site teams on H&S requirements

About you

• Experience in a health and safety or compliance role
• Working knowledge of H&S legislation and audit processes
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ideally a recognised H&S qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH) is desirable (adjust to client’s requirements)
