INSIDE SALES EXECUTIVE (B2B ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT) OFFICE SUPPLIES BELFAST. OTE £35k
Our client is a leading Belfast-based supplier of office supplies, with a friendly, welcoming team and a strong customer base across Northern Ireland. They want a permanent, full-time Inside Sales Executive to take over an existing customer base that currently earns circa £32k a year between base salary and commission, and to grow it from there.
THE ROLEThis is an office-based account management role, and you take over an existing customer base who already order regularly and trust the company. Business development is only a small part of the job. The company gives you lists of potential new business, so you never start from a blank sheet.
- Take over an established customer base that currently earns circa £32k between base salary and commission
- Look after customers who place weekly or monthly orders, keeping them informed on delivery and stock
- Handle a mix of incoming and outgoing calls (about 40 a day), most of them to customers you already know
- Follow up the lists of potential new clients provided by the company, and earn commission as the account grows
- Take orders by phone, email and online and enter them on the sales order system
- Prepare price quotations for existing and prospective customers
- Keep accurate customer and sales records on the CRM
- Arrange collection of faulty or unwanted goods and make sure credits are raised
THE PERSON
- Previous sales or telesales experience is preferred, but not essential. Our client will train people who have a clear voice, a pleasant phone manner and the confidence to make calls
- Good written and spoken communication
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Office
- Organised and accurate, with attention to detail
- Energetic, focused and keen to build lasting customer relationships
SALARY
Basic salary plus commission with £32k generated from existing levels of business and potential to increase to £35k from new client generation.
