Senior HR Officer

We’re working with an established manufacturing business to recruit a Senior HR Officer to join its HR team. You’ll support a broad range of HR activities, from employee relations and absence management to recruitment, engagement and policy development.
The Role
You’ll provide hands-on HR support across the business, advising managers on day-to-day people matters and helping deliver effective HR processes.
The key responsibilities:
- Advising managers and employees on a range of HR matters.
- Managing ER cases, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Supporting performance, probation and absence management.
- Coordinating recruitment, selection and onboarding.
- Assisting with HR training, engagement initiatives and people projects.
- Maintaining HR policies, records and systems in line with ROI employment legislation.
- Supporting payroll processes and identifying opportunities to improve HR procedures.
The ideal candidate
- Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment.
- Confident handling employee relations matters and advising managers.
- Good knowledge of ROI employment legislation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- CIPD qualified or working towards a relevant HR qualification, or educated to degree level.
