We are recruiting for a Junior Garment Technologist to join a fashion business on an initial 8-week temporary basis, with potential for the role to continue longer term.

This is a great opportunity for a junior technologist with at least 1 year of industry experience who is confident supporting fit, testing and product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Support fit sessions and write clear, accurate fit comments
• Review samples and assist with garment fit and construction queries
• Read and interpret garment and fabric test reports
• Maintain technical records, sample information and product development documentation
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on technical updates
• Support the wider Technical team with critical path and product development requirements

About you

• Minimum 1 year of garment technology experience
• Confident writing fit comments
• Experience reading and understanding test reports
• Good knowledge of garment construction and fit
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Available to start at short notice
