Nuclear Engineering Maintenance Apprentice

EDF Energy invites applications for a four-year Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, offering a paid path to a BTEC Level 3 qualification. Two years at the National College for Nuclear in Somerset, followed by placement years at Heysham 1 or Heysham 2, to gain hands-on skills and recognised qualifications.

You will be mentored by experienced engineers, developing mechanical, electrical and instrumentation expertise while contributing to Britain’s low‑carbon energy future.
