Finance & Operations Analyst

Finance & Operations Analyst; 6-month contract; £26.00 Gloucester; Inside IR35

We are currently recruiting for an experienced finance analyst /accountant to work with an aerospace client based in Gloucester. The role requires the post holder to liaise between finance and procurement and have a good understanding of working capital. This role will primarily be based on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inventory analysis and system cleansing to improve data accuracy
• Proactively reconcile and recover overdue credits from suppliers
• Assist with stock take activities and inventory reviews
• Reconcile consignment stocks
• Analyse and forecast buffer stocks and advanced payments to optimise working capital
• Initiate routing updates to ensure accurate standard costing
• Provide ad hoc support for financial process improvement and analysis tasks

Skills/Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
• Do you have previous management accounting / financial analyst experience
• Experience managing and optimising working capital (e.g. inventory, GRNI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrated process improvement skills
• Ability to manage supplier relations and recover overdue credits
• SAP knowledge is preferable
• Advanced MS Excel skills
