Learning Support Assistant
Salary will be paid according toexperience on AAT Grade C £- £26,956 – £27,765 (pro-rated to £22,325 – £22,995actual per annum for 35 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 4:00 pm,Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, 38 weeks term time plus 1 week).
We are seeking a dedicated andenthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team. Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with teachers to help students with arange of needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve theirpotential.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting individual students and smallgroups in lessons
- Promoting inclusion and positivebehaviour
- Assisting with learning resources and classroomactivities
- Encouraging independence and confidencein students
We are looking for someone who ispatient, adaptable, and passionate about helping young people succeed. Previousexperience in education or working with children is desirable but not essential- full training will be provided.
This would be an excellent opportunityfor a graduate wishing to gain relevant experience or for those considering acareer in teaching.
