The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Working alongside warehouse, inventory and office teams, you’ll help maintain high service standards while ensuring stock is managed effectively and orders reach customers on time. No two days are exactly the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team and taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock.
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Updating stock movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and helping to ensure stock availability.
- Reporting stock shortages, discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised and safe.
- Following warehouse procedures and service standards at all times.
- Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively across departments.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
- Assisting with additional warehouse duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential Previous warehouse experience.
- Inventory management and stock handling experience.
- Experience with picking, packing and dispatch operations.
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Basic IT skills, including email and warehouse systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- Desirable Forklift licence (Counterbalance and VNA).
- Previous experience within a parts warehouse environment.
