The Senior Hydrogeologist will work across hydrogeological assessment and water environment projects within the renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment sectors.
The Senior Hydrogeologist role will include:
- Leading hydrogeological assessments, investigations and monitoring programmes
- Preparing and reviewing EIA water chapters
- Water environment assessments and abstraction licensing
- Hydrogeological risk assessment and groundwater permitting
- Technical analysis, interpretation and reporting
- Client management, proposals and multidisciplinary project delivery
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members
The Senior Hydrogeologist should have:
- Substantial UK hydrogeology or water environment experience
- A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or a related discipline
- Experience of hydrogeological studies, water monitoring and risk assessments
- Knowledge of UK water legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
- Chartered status or be working towards chartership
- A driving licence permitting you to drive in the UK
GIS, analysis or modelling software experience would be advantageous rather than essential.
