What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care




• Assess patients’ health needs and monitor their condition




• Develop, implement and review individualised care plans




• Administer medications and treatments safely in line with clinical procedures




• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patients’ conditions




• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation




• Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants and multidisciplinary teams




• Support patients and their families with appropriate information and reassurance




• Follow infection prevention and control procedures




• Promote patient dignity, privacy, independence and wellbeing




• Respond appropriately to changes in patients’ conditions and escalate concerns




• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and clinical governance requirements




• Participate in ongoing training, professional development and clinical learning

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Nursing qualification such as BSc Nursing, Diploma in Nursing or equivalent




• Newly qualified nurses and experienced nurses may be considered depending on the vacancy




• Previous clinical experience is desirable for experienced positions




• Evidence of continuing professional development is an advantage




• Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control and professional nursing standards
