Registered Manager – Residential Services

Location: Carmarthen

PermanentFull-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £38,000to £40,000

We’re recruiting an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a Residential service inCarmarthen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, values-led provider and lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring safe, effective, high-quality care
• Manage and develop the team (recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision)
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
• Oversee rotas, staffing levels, records, reporting, and audits
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and up to date
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community
• Manage incidents/complaints and drive continuous improvement
• Support staff retention and service development

Requirements:

• Ideally QCF Level 5 (or Level 3 with strong management experience and willingness to work towards Level 5)
• Proven experience managing staff in a social care setting
• Strong understanding of best practice and compliance within care services
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Commitment to dignity, independence and rights of the people supported
