Job Description:

  • Build positive, trauma-informed relationships with children, young people, families and professionals.
  • Provide high-quality physical, emotional and practical support in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes in education, life skills and personal development.
  • Contribute to care plans, maintain accurate records and prepare reports for families and professional agencies.
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing through effective risk assessment and safe working practices.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic care and support plans. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or the willingness to achieve this qualification with our support.
  • An understanding of child development, safeguarding and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A compassionate, resilient and child-centred approach.
  • The ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
