Established in the 1980s, this specialist engineering company designs, manufactures and installs bespoke acoustic and noise-control solutions for industrial and commercial environments. The company works with a range of clients across the UK and internationally, delivering projects for major organisations and contractors across a variety of sectors.
In this role, you will lead day-to-day fabrication operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and safety standards are met while supporting labour planning, continuous improvement, and team development.
This role would suit a Fabrication Supervisor looking to join an established manufacturer offering progression and an early friday finish
The Role:
- Lead and supervise day-to-day fabrication operations across the shopfloor
- Ensure health & safety, quality, housekeeping, and production standards are maintained
- Coordinate labour, production targets, overtime, materials, and workload
- Drive Right First Time, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Complete daily production meetings, safety checks, quality inspections, and team briefings
- Train, coach, and develop team members while maintaining skills and competency standards
- Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm, Friday 6am-11am
The Person:
- Previous experience as a Fabrication Supervisor
- NVQ Level 2 + in Manufacturing, Engineering, Fabrication or similar
- Commutable to Heckmondwike Reference: BBBH27620
