Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm

About your new HGV Welder / Fabricator role

You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting. This will include tankers, trailers and HGV’s. You will be required to work on a huge variety of different vehicles so experience in a variety of sectors is beneficial.

The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will require:

• Experience of medium- heavy fabrication of steel construction & welding – (2mm to 10mm)
• Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding
• Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working on trucks, trailers and tankers
