Major Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley. This industry leader specializes in manufacturing Engine Cooling Systems for Off-Highway Vehicles.
Due to an increase in work load the business is looking for MIG/TIG or CMT Welders to join the factory team on an long term ongoing basis. Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds.
As a Welder, your responsibilities will be:
Work in a dynamic factory environment.Operate advanced machinery and heavy-duty industrial equipment.Showcase your exceptional skills in MIG, TIG or CMT WeldingDemonstrate your expertise in manual handlingPrioritize safety and adhere to health and safety guidelines.Following plans & manufacturing processesHandle potentially heavy items and a variety of tools.The ideal candidate:
Previous experience of TIG, MIG or CMT WeldingProficiency in manual handling, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.Strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.Effective timekeepingEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.Working hours:
Weekly alternating OR Nights
Week 1:
Monday-Thursday:6am-2pm, Friday:6am-11:00am
Week 2:.
Monday-Thursday:2pm-10pm, Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm
Nights:
Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6am, Friday: 16:00pm-21:00pm
Pay:
£16.16 – £17.24 per hour
