Vehicle Technician – Ipswich

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is currently in search of an experienced Vehicle Technician to join one of clients situated in Ipswich. Our client is an approved retailer, offering a full aftersales service including servicing, repair, warranty, parts, and accessories for new or used vehicles.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 qualified essential!!
• Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialised tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance.
• Valid UK driver’s license.

Package:

• Basic Salary: £35,000 – £36,000 + Bonus (Circa £40,000)!!
• 25 Days holiday rising to 28 days after three years’ service.
• Free Parking on site.
• Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)!
• (1-in-4) Saturdays (8:30am – 12:00pm)!
