We’re looking for an Industrial Placement Construction Manager to join our team based across London., Location: London RegionHours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £30,784Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38kStarting date: September 2027

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the required quality. What will you be responsible for?

As an Industrial Placement Construction Manager, you’ll be working within the construction team, supporting them in delivering high‑quality construction projects.

Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day site operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring project progress, including schedules, costs, and quality control measures
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, safety logs, and material deliveries
  • Participating in site meetings and helping to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise

Working towards a degree in Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction management with clear motivation to learn and develop professionally
  • Can prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively whilst maintaining high standards
  • Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration, reliability, and respect for others
