Audit Assistant

NXTGEN is pleased to be working with a well established and highly respected accountancy practice on the recruitment of an Audit Assistant to join their growing team.

As an Audit Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with audits from planning through to completion
• Supporting senior members of the team with a variety of audit work
• Preparing accounts and audit working papers
• Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
• Carrying out testing and ensuring financial information is accurate
• Working closely with the wider team and developing your technical knowledge

The ideal Audit Assistant will have:

• Some previous audit or accountancy practice experience
• A genuine interest in developing a career within audit
• An interest in studying towards the ACA qualification
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude towards learning and development
• The ability to work well as part of a team
